Consultation

A visit during which a thorough interview, subjective, and objective examination are conducted. This visit is particularly important to accurately diagnose the patient’s problem and propose an individualized rehabilitation plan tailored to the issue the patient is facing.

Orthopedic Physiotherapy

Like any other, it is an individually tailored form of therapy for the patient. It is used in cases of acute and chronic peripheral joint pain, spinal pain, overload injuries, as well as degenerative changes or injuries (sprains, dislocations, fractures).

Sports Physiotherapy

Aimed at individuals involved in sports, both amateur and professional. The therapy focuses on relieving musculoskeletal stress after training, competitions, and post-injury recovery. It incorporates elements of massage, drainage, dry needling, electrotherapy, theragun, and customized exercises.

Pre and Postoperative Rehabilitation

It involves preparing the body for surgical procedures (arthroscopy, ligament reconstruction, meniscus repair, joint replacement). It is particularly important both before and after surgery to expedite the recovery process.

Dry Needling

Dry needling (medical acupuncture) has been used for many years. It involves puncturing specific points on the body using very thin acupuncture needles (without pharmacological additives). Points within tight muscle-fascia bands and trigger points are mainly needled. It is also performed on the face, e.g., the temporal muscle.

Kinesiotaping

The most widespread method of aid for patients, especially athletes. It involves applying special, elastic tapes (without drugs or medicinal ointments) to specific parts of the body using specific techniques depending on the desired goal. It is commonly used to support therapy and maintain the effects of treatment. There are seven different taping techniques.

Functional Training

Training that utilizes standard positions used in functional assessments. Attention is given to regressions and progressions in performing specific exercises, motor skills, and biomechanics.

Electrotherapy / Electrical Stimulation

A treatment that uses a stimulator to pass an electric current with pre-defined parameters to stimulate and generate stimuli for muscles, distinguishing between slow-twitch (Type I) and fast-twitch (Type II) fibers.
This treatment is especially applied in the early postoperative period, most commonly after ACL reconstruction and injuries. It is also used for pain relief in the spine and peripheral joints, as well as for post-training regeneration programs

Theragun Massage

This is one of the elements during therapy with orthopedic and sports patients. It involves using a “gun” specifically designed to generate high-frequency strikes that aim to loosen overly tense muscles to reduce tension. At the same time, it increases blood and oxygen flow, which are essential for better tissue nutrition and effective treatment and return to full physical activity.

Lymphatic Drainage / Pneumatic Compression Therapy

It is a form of lymphatic massage using a special device consisting of lower limb cuffs containing air chambers that are filled with air in different sequences and degrees of compression. It is most commonly used in individuals dealing with problems such as lymphedema, edema, lower limb pain, venous insufficiency, heavy leg syndrome, and ischemic disease of the lower limbs. This treatment is utilized as an aid in combating cellulite and is frequently used in both amateur and professional athletes after training sessions.
